Fashion Art

Fashion is an art form.  Designers are the artists.  Like any painting, fashion raises questions, evokes emotion and creates changes in the way people live their lifes.  Every now and then we get something so fresh and innovative that it immediately creates responses whether they be negative or positive.
My response to footwear designer Chau Har Lee's is crazy positive.  She has created shoes that are visually stunning yet still wearable.  These shoes are truly works of art, but more like sculptures in their design.  This particular pair are showstoppers.  You would walk into any room and would cause the crowds to silence and stare at your feet.
Lee, who also designs footwear for luxury label Bally is not as well known as Jimmy Choo or Manolo Blahnik but I think there needs to be a change in this.  Her designs are inventive and something that no other is doing.  I would love to get my foot in the door with her shoes on any day.
