The loving relationship that was Kate Moss and Topshop has now ended with the supermodel revealing her last full collection for the high street brand.
I think that Kate Moss was a positive thing for Topshop, although personally I never bought any of her pieces due to lack of funds. Where I lived near Lincoln, Topshop was becoming less exciting, less original. Topshop in Lincoln never had any of the "outside" designers in store so when we heard about the Kate Moss collection being local, it was needless to say an exciting moment. It was a taste of London style yet posted all the way to Lincolnshire where fashion is not of any relevance.
I remember a girl I knew practically running into Topshop when the collection was first in store and spending something like £60 on a sequinned jacket.
Now that Kate Moss will no longer be at Topshop, I don't think it's the end of the world. There are so many newer, fresher faces to fill the gap and now living practically right next door to Oxford Street, there are so many other collections I can get my hands on.
