Vile Velour

How was I not aware that velour seems to be making a very unexpected and very unwelcome return to the high street.  Out shopping recently, I couldn't help but notice the velour or "crushed velvet" items that seem to have become fashion.  How anyone can see this is as attractive or a good look is beyond me.

It might be considered a winter, Christmas feel material but still, there is just no excuse to put this on your body.

There were scarfs, hats, cardigans and bags even adorned with the look and feel of velour.  There is only one set of distinct characters that pull off the velour look and they just manage to do it - velour tracksuit clad Scouse girls.
